Plan With regards to the above application, there has been a recent amendment in the assessment of these prior approval applications, which reads as follows: Amendment to Part 3, Class PA 16. In Class PA of Part 3 of Schedule 2 in paragraph PA.2, after sub-paragraph (1)(b)(iv) insert— “(v)the provision of adequate natural light in all habitable rooms of the dwellinghouses,”. On this basis, looking at the proposed floor plans, I am not satisfied that it has been demonstrated that enough natural light would serve the open plan living and kitchen areas of each flat given the fact they do not have any windows and the only light source is via a door, which could also be solid and have no glass. However, as a solution to this I recommend that you insert roof lights on to the front and rear elevations to serve these areas. In order for this application to progress more positively, please provide amended proposed floor plans and elavations to include the front and rear roof lights no later than Monday 21st September 2020.
