Plan Amended plans were sought to remove the proposed splayed design and redesign the roof to assimilate with the host dwelling and also to increase the set back to a minimum of 0.75m at first floor level (it was highlighted that in order to get a square, traditional side extension a set back of 2m may be required). Amended plans were received removing the initially proposed first floor and replacing it with an L-shaped single storey side/rear extension which removed the proposed splay and was set back 1.3m from the front elevation.
